I have had this cook book for many years and bought it after the success of her Indian Cookbook which I thought of as my Indian bible. This is yet another book which accompanied a BBC TV series and this is a fabulous way to inspire us budding home cooks into trying the taste of something new and exotic. I have not cooked anywhere near as many recipes as I have tried from her first (to me) cookbook but have tried the Glazed Gingery Spare Ribs which have a lovely sticky glaze on Page 101 and the Caramel Custard Filipino Style on Page 248 is really the best Creme Caramel I have ever tasted. Other than that though this book is yet another that has sat unloved on my shelf. I really must try harder
