Keith Floyd, what a legend. I think he was the first TV chef to inspire me, his shows were epic and I loved being one of his 'little gastronomes' and admired his ability to drink wine, have fun and boss around his camera man in every show. It must have been at least 20 years ago that I bought this book and this book is one of his best and although I am not a great fan of Spanish cuisine this is a family favourite. Several recipes from here are regulars at the Richards' dinner table including Beef & Potato Hotpot on Page 109 and the Potato Omelette on Page 166 which is a speciality of Mike's and he now adds whatever we have to hand to the dish including mushrooms, ham, salami, peas. Yummy, in fact I had this only last night. Every home cook should have at least one Keith Floyd book in their collection but if I was to recommend only one (or two) it would be this book and/or Floyd on France.
