This is a family favourite and I have had the book for about twenty years. It is tattered, battered and the spine is broken but it makes a regular appearance in the kitchen as I have made Chicken Thighs Normandie on page 171;Chicken Cordon Bleu on Page 170; Chicken Cacciatore on Page158; Corned Beef Hash on page 232 and Beef Florentine on page 233 amongst others. The thing I like most about this book is that each chapter opens with an index with picture thumbnails of each recipe in that section alongside a brief description. It makes it very user friendly when planning meals for the discerning family. There are still many recipes to try in this excellent book and I intend to try more of them.
